I believe that a collaborative therapeutic relationship is the basis of any patient-clinician interaction. Together we will discuss a diagnosis, treatment plan and all treatment options. I specialize in evidence based care, and welcome all of my patients to be involved in their care. I always work with parents and tailor treatment to the best interests and safety of the child, and their family. I believe strongly in the combined use of psychotherapy and pharmacological interventions (medication) in the successful treatment of mental and emotional disturbance in youth . I work closely with psychologists, therapists, and counselors at Augusta Psychological Associates to help children recover and achieve balance and happiness in their lives. Mental health concerns in children and adolescents can chronic, thus a trusting relationship with a child psychiatrist is essential . I strive to understand what is most important to my patients and will tailor a treatment plan that best suits their needs.
